Ihre Aufgaben:
Project Engineer (PE) has overall technical responsibility for the life of the projects assigned to him by the Engineering Manager.
Project Engineer may be included in a Standby call out roster. To support our major customers
The Project Engineer maybe required to act as a Product Specialist
Must be able to communicate in fluent German both written and verbal to a technical level.
Upon assignment to a project, in co-operation with the assigned Sales professional, gather sufficient information and evaluate technical feasibility of given opportunity. Clearly define all technical risks to minimise the company's risks and when justified, veto a project providing a written report.
Assist the assigned Sales professional in all technical matters as necessary to secure award of a given project. This includes preparation of technical write-ups, answering technical queries, negotiations support, customer presentations and demonstrations, preparation of technical aspects of offer and drafting customer acceptance test plans based on the functional requirements specification
Upon award of a project provide the final equipment list, project schedule and other technical specifications as necessary for manufacture or other sub-suppliers. For particularly large or challenging projects this will be completed in co-operation with an assigned Project Manager.
In co-operation with the Operations, track progress of all of the sub-suppliers. Spur corrective actions when project schedule is at risk. For large or complex projects this will be done in co-operation with a Project Manager.
When stipulated by the project, lead the technical aspects of project implementation.
Provide guidance to all involved parties in all customer acceptance tests regardless of location.
Upon the final acceptance prepare the necessary documentation package as required by the Customer Support group.
Make regular reports to the Engineering Manager showing his activity and indicating success and delays in creating engineering deliveries.
Ensure project archives are properly maintained and filed for review. |
